| Is Obama a cancer in the Democratic party?
I think he is. Although his agenda may not be sinister, the people he has associated with over many years are certainly shady, scary, and even could be described as anti-American. This Pastor Wright is basically preaching a philosophy of hatred and black separatism, and Obama can't very easily distance himself from him. This is because he has been with him for at least 20 years. I am supporting Clinton, and if Obama wins the nomination I will definitely be voting for McCain. You know you have a deeply flawed candidate when he can't even utter his own middle name, which is Hussein. And I blame the mainstream media for many of these problems, because they did not ask the hard questions and engage in the same level of scrutiny of Obama that they would be doing for other candidates, primarily because they were worried of being charged as "insensitive" or even "racist." This free pass has amounted to a ticking time bomb for the Democratic party, and McCain is the direct benefiary.
