Time to unite the democratic party?

It's time for Hillary Clinto to bow out so the party can unite around a single candidate. If no rules are changed, she cannot win on delegates or popular vote. The "undecided" super-delegates seem to be supporting Obama. Why does she keep asking them to hold-off until after the next primary? Bill Richardson has had enough. Others will follow. Does anyone think that the super-delegates have the stomach to overturn Obama's lead in pledged and popular votes, alienating all the new and young voters that FINALLY took an interest in politics?

It's time for the votes of the Dem's party to quit attacking each over and get back to the issues. Both of them are Great Americans and both have their strong points and weak points.

Obama can not win. Why do you wish to give the election to McCain?

Obama is a racist and will never win the general election. Hillary is smart enough to see that and hopes that the party will back her because she's maginally electable. But basically the democrats took a golden opportunity to take back the presidency and flushed it away. I hope you like John McCain, because he's getting elected in November. Obama's biggotry will not be forgiven or forgotten.

Unfortunately, the Clintons will do all they can to stay in the race whether it destroys the Democratic Party or not. They are behaving in a way that shows its about THEM and not the party or Democratic ideals. Their focus has always been on themselves and power....Bill lied to the American people, was impeached and Hillary stayed around. After they leave office disgracefully, they move to NY where for some crazy reason New Yorkers elect her. Given their behavior, its pretty obvious what drives them above all is POWER.

Perhaps other leaders in the Party, and the super delegates, will step up like Bill Richardson and show similar courage to the Clinton power machine.

Doesn't really matter. McCain has this one wrapped up. Look how quickly he got the nomination. And he appeals to the Democrats a lot more than either Obama or Hillary appeals to the Republicans.

Plus he has more experience than either of them.

The time was 1994 when the Dems ran away from Clinton at top speed. Thus opening the door to the Gingrich Congress. Since then the Dems have had a perfect record of shooting themselves in the foot. Hillary and Barak will continue sniping at each other while McCain can leisurely pave a route of roses to the White House. His presidency will be nothing more than Bush III. There will be no improvement in the economy, nor will the "mess" in "Mess-o-potamia" be cleared up. Aftrer four years when the economy is in the crapper and banks can no longer get a bye for their failures, when the (very under-estimated) 4000 American deaths in Iraq has trippled or quadrupled and Al Quaeda is stronger than ever, Americans will again consider "Maybe change would be a good thing."

WE GET THE GOVERNMENT WE DESERVE.
