Do you think the Democratic party thought Obama's nomination through before hand?...

...If so, why did they do it?? Do you think the party elite knew what would take place should Obama do well in this part of the election?

With is political ties to Kenya (Odinga and his brother)

His church, surely the knew. He has been around since Clinton was in office.

His extreme liberal policies.

He lack of anything while he was in the state level office.

His ties with shady Muslim characters.

His own Muslim past and sympathies.

His wife at a "non-profit" hospital that makes millions each year.

Questions on his being patriotic.

His racist beliefs and ideas.

Surely they knew or had a suspicion, If not do you think they are really THAT out of touch with the rest of the nation?

If they are, are they really the best for the needs and problems we face at this time?

I am not advocating McCain. I am am just asking in general...

I don't like any of the 3 front runners, and find it amusing to watch the Dems destroy each other. And CAN'T wait until the repubs have a go at them... It will be ugly then!

Obama took us all by surprise.

It is unbelievable that Half of the Democratic Party has been sucked in by this black racist.

It has gone too far now, Obama will get the Democratic Nomination. Obama is going into the Convention with the lead, and there will be the serious threat of race riots and racial violence if Obama does not get the Nomination.

But everything is ok. Clinton's Half of the Democratic Party will be voting for McCain and McCain will win in November.

The black racist attempt to seize power in the US will finally come to an end in November.

I am not sure whether the Democratic Party will be the same after all this, only time will tell.

I do not think that they thought it through one bit. They found a charismatic black man and thought they could get him through on race.
