Where I am certainly not suggesting any of the three democrats in question did anything knowingly illegal, shouldn't it concern the American people just as much that these three liberal democrats blithely did exactly what our enemies wanted them to do? Doesn't this event demostrate that these three and other anti-war democrats are playing right into our enemies hands?

Why would we ever want leaders who intentionally or unintentionally do EXACTLY what our enemies want?

I'll use really short sentences so you can understand. Saddam Hussein wanted democrats to come to Iraq. He wanted them to look around and see all the "poor suffering widows and orphans". Then he wanted them to go home and keep the US from invading and toppling him from power.

These three did everything Saddam wanted, whether they knew it or not.

The secrecy only keeps me from demanding these Representatives be tried for treason! I agree they didn't know and shouldn't be held criminally accountable, BUT Saddam Hussein EASILY manipulated them and other liberals, just like Hiltler manipulated Chaimberlain and the other British doves before WWII while he was merrily annexing all of sentral and eastern Europe.

My concern is not whether or not these men cokmmited a crime. I don't think they did. What I AM concerned abnout however is how easily they were manipulated to do things that helped the enemies of the United States.

No. What about "Secretly" do you not understand? If the trip was financed secretly, they had no idea who financed the trip or why.

Edit: Oh please, comparing Saddam Hussien to Hitler? That's the tactic used in the US to MANIPULATE people into supporting a war against a country that was no threat to the US, had an army we beat in about a month, had no Air Force, no navy, no WMD.
