Allen Chapter May Newsletter The fundraiser, bagging at Econofoods on Friday, 28 April went well. Four boys participated and earned money for their escrow accounts. Thanks to Brother Jim Jacobsen for assisting. We have another one scheduled at Econofoods: Saturday from 10:00 till 2:00.
Thanks to BrotherAl Kopczyk for his presentation at the April 25^th meeting for Education day. Brother Kopczyk is an Engineer at Alliant Energy.
Fun night/Cookout at the Grotto. Wednesday, 7 June is scheduled as a cookout at the Grotto. Families are to bring a dish to pass and beverages. The Chapter will provide meat and buns. This is a good event to bring prospects to.
Election of Officers will be held at the June 13^th meeting with Installation on June 24^th at 2:00 pm.
Fun night/Temple lock-in was held on May 12^th -13^th. The event was well attended with more prospects than DeMolays attending. (We started out the night with about 35 people, with 25 staying over night)
Schedule. For the near future, Tuesday will remain as the regular meeting night. A supper will be served at 6:30 with the meetings starting at 7:30.
