No. That sounds about right. I'm 18 now and a freshman in college, and after 4 years of pre-med I will go to medical school for another 4 years. Then an additional 3-7 years of specialization for my field. So I will be probably 28-32 years old when I'm done. If you think that's too old, compare the salary that you would get with a medical profession with one you could only get with a masters. That medical profession salary will pass the other one up very quickly. Most people don't look at the long-term benefits. We're the smart ones.

Average age of a medical school/dental school graduate? So, Im thinking of going into something that has to do with medical. I havent even made up my mind yet on what, but I like the idea of becoming an Optometrist, Pharmacist, or Orthodontist. Anyway, I will probably graduate with my bachelor degree when Im 22-23 and so that will me around 30 when Im done with EVERYTHING!! Is that too old?

haha ya i want to go into the medical profession too... its kinda scary isnt it.. but relax... by the time your out of undergrad your about 22... then you go into med school which is 4-6 years but in the last two or so years your going to be doing internship which will let you get paid and will give you experience in whatever field you want to go into... so just relax.. anyone going into medicine has a long road ahead of them but its not just all school remember
