Need help from a dentist or dental student?

I am currently a biochemistry major in my third year, undergrad. I am currently applying to a few dental schools in California but my question is - what kind of positions are available in a dental enviorment to a person who is a science major but has no experiance in a dental office nor do I have a RDA licence. I would like to gain some experience before starting dental school.
