I went to the dental office and they overcharged. What do i have to do?

I went to the dental office for cleaning. They did the cleaning and took some tooth pictures.Nothing else. Now they send me a bill of $295 dollars. They really overcharged. I am a retiree with a limited budget. What do i have to do?
If i only pay for tooth cleaning around $100 can they sue me or something?

This could be a clerical error, call the Dentist Office and tell them about it!

You need to call the office and make sure they didn't accidently overcharge you. Maybe they hit the wrong button on the billing or something. I do know that dental Xrays are expensive, especially whole mouth ones. You could probably set up a payment plan. If you are still not satisfied, contact your state's dental licensing board to make a complaint. Good luck!
