can i feed my dog apples?

like real apples from the grocery store, not dry, preserved,etc.I give her those nylabone dental chews (green) which purport to clean teeth, but that just might be a gimmick.

Yep, our old lab used to pick them from our apple tree.Hard kibble cleans their teeth, and those nylabones aren't bad at all.

Nylabones are not a gimmick. However you do not need to get the greenies all of the time. A nubby chew toy will do. Anything that "scrubs" their teeth works. As to apples, apples are great. They provide moisture and fiber (important in elimination). Just wash your apples in baking soda/vinegar mix to remove as much of the pesticides and wax (something you should be doing for yourself as well).

if a dog eats it it means it's good they are like cats, cats will not eat something is it good or they like it if your dog dose not eat the apples it most probably means that he doesn't like them

Carrots, Apples, Green Leafy Veggies, Dogs can eat heaps...If you looking for a natrual diet.... google barf diet.... "Barf"it stands for bones and raw food.... Thats what i feed my dogs... all good stuff
