well i didnt have any floss, but i had a toothbrush. and i used the bristles in my toothbrush and pushed them where the good was in my teeth... its actually pretty dang hard to do that.

The perfect thing is this. Find an old cotton shirt or dish cloth that you don't use anymore. Rip or cut it to release one of the threads. Then pull the thread to the desired length you need. It will be thin enough to get in between your teeth.
