What are some things you've used for dental floss (instead of dental floss)?

I have answered a similar question once before.. My hair is really thick... think along the lines of horse hair...got that mental picture??? ok.. now picture My Mom and me, and whomever else out at a restaurant and we are finished eating our meal.. now picture my Mom plucking a hair from my head, tears coming to my eyes, family members laughing because it's so darn funny, and then her using it for floss...
