Dental School Admissions Issue.?

I just took my DAT today and did poorly. I have to wait 90 days to be able to retake the test... meaning October (which i dont know if is too late)
I already filled out my application and these ugly scores will be sent to the schools. My question is, if I put in the application that I am planning to retake the DAT, will dental schools hurry their decisions (based on todays DAT scores) and decide not to accept me? Also, is October too late to retake the DAT?
They would already have the application and the old DAT scores (the ones i took today). I'm nervous. I feel like im not going to get in with the score I got.
I have a 3.6 gpa and am president of a honor society... among other impressive things. But the DAT scores are terrible. No way am i getting in.
Someone please answer... only if you know what the process is like.

*Most schools have their deadline in February, but if they got my scores in November... when do you think I'd be able to interview?
I already have all of my application done (essay, recs,etc.) and it is being sent out in the next cycle. I just dont know if schools will keep my application, while knowing my current DAT score, in the pile till they get the next DAT score in 3 to 4 months.
