How long can it take for pug to return to normal after anesthesia for dental?

My dog is 8 years old and had a dental cleaning yesterday morning and one tooth that was extremely loose came out during the cleaning.. While she is somewhat better, i.e. she has gone to the bathroom, she drinks, she walks around, and is responsive, she has absolutely no interest in eating. She seems very comfortable at rest but when she stands for very long she will start to gag a little, breath a little heavier, and seems sick. Her tail is always straight which is a good indication she still doesn't feel well. I've had other dogs who have had anesthesia and they seem better the next day. How long should I wait before I get worried about her not eating and not feeling well?
