| Difference between an HMO dental practice vs. Private insurance dental practice?
Hi, I'm a new dentist (10 months working) and I'm looking around at job positions. Some of the descriptions say that the applicant must be "experienced in HMO insurance". I'm really confused as to what that means? I know HMO's don't pay very well to the dentists, but is there anything else? Can someone clarify that for me? Thanks!
