I personally prefer and would reccomend Dental hygienist because they pay more than a dental assistant.. a dental assistant gets payed like 26$ an hour and adental hygieniest like 36$ or more depending on the city you live and by the years of expereince they keep raising it. 45$ an hour is like almost the most a dental hygienist gets payed so i would go for dental hygienist! plus, you have flexible schedules and you dont have to work with a dentist all the time. To become a dental hygienist you would have to go to college for either an Associates Degree or a Bachelors degree in dental hygiene. It depends on you. I prefer a Bachelor's degree because usually big companies look for dental hygienists with more experience, so i guess its better. . A dental assistant usually you just have to take an Associates.. or a bachelors |
