Has anyone else here been tested for gestational diabetes? What was your blood

sugar level? Today my wife went for her 28 week screening, she had blood sugar of 175. They want her to do a second longer test. Has anybody here had gestational diabetes? Or high blood sugar that was later proven to not to be gestational diabetes? Please anyone who has knowledge help me to calm my wife! Thanks.

175 is pretty high.. they dont want a womans blood sugar level to be above 140 after that test.. i just took mine yesterday.. and they didn't tell me what it was since i passed.. they only tell you if you failed.. just tell her to really stick to her diet they give her for the three hour glucose and hopefully she passes. Gestational diabetes can be well controlled if you can know about it and stick to a diet.. and she might pass the second one. I wish her luck.
