whene they test me for diabetes is there any way they can check without a blood test?

like urine samples, or spit or dna or something please help i need to get checked but im like deathly afraid of needles!!!

Nope gotta draw some blood.......just look away when they stick you with a good nurse it wont even hurt

NO you have to have blood work. And the more you fret about it, the worse you're gonna make yourself feel.

Nothing accurate, a urine test is decent as screening, but it gives far less information than blood tests. In addition, they will generally take blood to check on many things in a check-up, so you will probably need to have some taken anyway. If you have good veins, it should be quick and no more painful than a pinch, if it bothers you, close your eyes, make sure you're lying down when they take the blood, and it'll be over before you know it.
