| i was a diabetic for 26 years and i did not take care of myself. i went on dialysis because my kidneys failed, i had a double transplant, i can not have children and i lost my left leg. having said all that yes it is a bad disease if you do not take care of your self. my dad has diabetes for 46 years and he is still health as a horse. it all depends on how you take care of yourself. i gave you an example;e of a person who did not follow her doctor orders but the one who follow his doctors orders has done great. it is what you make of it. diabetes can be controlled and you can live a long life if you find a good doctor and follow what they say. good luck to all WHO have diabetes and may God keep you healthy and safe. |
