diabetes will i get it?

I just realized that it is in my family I knew it but never "noticed" it could be my problem.

I heard it skips generations!?!? and My grandmas brother on my moms side has it then my grandpas brother on my dads side has it.

What are my chances and risks?

even if you have a higher risk because it is hereditary it doesn't mean you will get it. like everyone else, you need a balanced diet and healthy excercise to stay disease free. because the foods we are eating and the easy acess to these bad foods are all around us, everyone is succeptable to any bad disease.
