Viktorija B has a spectacular aura about
help for diabetes !!!?

Does diabetics get some help from the government or the state?
In my country diabetics ( just with type 1 and until the are 26 ) get 25 stripes for measuring blood level in a month ( it's not enough for 1 measuring in a day and not for more like it has to be), insulin is free ( at least some of it) and a little sum of money which doesn't cover charges for stripes and not for something else like food or medication
here nobody sees economical situations of the family. As I wrote you get help if you are type 1 under 26

and I agree that there are a lot of charges stripes for blood, for ketons, medical control to the capital city ( in my counrty is only one center) and a lot more

I don't get any help from the government. I have health insurance from my job. I pay $35 a month for a 30 day supply of insulin. My syringes, test strips and lancets are free. I take 3 shots a day.

I live in the U.S., and my daughter is a Type 1. She does not get any help from the government, because her father & I can afford to pay her medical expenses. We have health insurance (from our employer) that helps with the cost. Each month we have to buy 2 types of insulin (she takes an average of 4 shots per day), needles (two different brands), testing strips, lancets for testing, glucose tablets, a glucagon kit, icing, and ketone test strips. All of this runs us (about) $200 per month ... out of our pockets.

Lucky has a spectacular aura about
at my job we get "free" insurance that doesnt cover much. i can pay a 20 dollar co pay to visit a doctor. but i have absolutely no prescription coverage. im on metformin which is very cheap. only like 11 bux a bottle. but it doesnt cover the lancets or the strips either. a box of lancets costs like 11 bux. then the strips run me around 85 for 100. so out of pocket every month im around 100 bux. if i have to get a prescription for anything else its extra. sometimes i get uti infections and thats another 11 bux and the migrane medicine is 98 bux. so i can sometimes pay 200 a month out of pocket just to take care of myself. then when i was diagnosed i saw one or two doctors a week. so 20 bux for a co pay isnt much. but if i saw just one doctor a week for a month, thats another 80 bux. im not low income, but pretty darn close and i get NO help.
