Get the poor thing put down. He will just go to sleep and not know anything. It is sad but better than letting him suffer. Good luck. Had to do this with my dog of 10yrs, was hard but the right thing to do.

I'm so sorry Sam. Give your kitty lots of kisses and kind words. What did the vet say about whether or not to put him to sleep. I know it's so hard to let them go, but you don't want him to suffer either. Take care.
