I'm disabled, very limited to exercise, I have type 2 diabetes. How can I...

...burn calories with my disability. I have spinal fusion from C6 to T10, serious damage to my left leg. We were in a serious accident and my left leg was burned down to the bone. I have Medicare insurance so I am limited in what I can pay for. All of the doctors tell me that water therapy would be best for me, but like I said, I can't afford to go. How else can I get exercies to burn calories? My husband and most people say to eat breakfast, that it is the most important meal. I have a hard time eating in the morning, but I have been trying. Thank you for any advice. Please, reply with helpful comments.

Try eating five or six small meals during the day. This will help speed up your metabolism so you can break down foods faster. Your diet is the greatest component to staying fit and healthy. Try to get most of your carbs in at breakfast so you can burn them as you go through your day. Monitor very carefully what goes in your body. Excercise is a supplement to your diet, not the most important component.
