Can somebody give me some basic facts on diabetes. I know a whole bunch, but I need to know more. Thanks

Diabetes is too broad a category to give basic facts other than there are two major types... one and two. They are so different, that they should not be called by the same name. There's also gestational, brittle, insipidus, etc. Just google it and start reading.

Check out Mayo Clinic on the net. They have information on types 1 and 2. They also have one of the best clinics if you need one.
