| i am very sure i have diabetes? i have about 4/7 of the symptoms listed on the websites as well as a family history of diabetes on both my mum and dad's side, with my grandpa on my dad's side dying from it. my mum is the only one of the entire generation that doesnt have it. i have a BMI of 28, which is overweight and i am ALWAYS thirsty      |

| ,Talk to your parents about your fears. Ask them to make an appointment to get tested as soon as possible. This is the only way to truly find out and if it turns out you do, then treating it early helps avoid the many of the complications that can happen if left untreated. Good luck. |

| Diabete's usually skip's a generation. My grandma has it but my dad doesn't so I am liable to get it. I thought I had it but I didn't, there is a chance that i don't get it but my kids might. So that explains your mom. If you really think you have diabetes tell you're parents and you have to get blood work done to check. I think you have to take in-sul-in shots. |
