| a diabetes question i forgot to ask my doctor? i just found out im type 2 diabetic and ive had so many questions and this one should have been my first. i found out when i was sick with the flu.... are there any over the counter things i should avoid now that im diabetic? is there anything that could make me go high/low and i wouldnt know it? for example if i have a headache, are there certain things i should take or avoid? how about colds and such. i usually take cold tablets depending on the symtoms. will it say on labels if i should avoid them? does anyone know of any good websites for diabeties cooking? i love to cook and entertain and now i know i have to make alot of adjustments to my diet. i would only like sites people have actually tried. everyone has been great in answering my questions and helping me. (even if they seem stupid at times lol) thanks again in advance
