my doctor did a blood test and it said i didn't have diabetes so what now?

my symptoms really dizzy to the point where i throw up or pass out / nearly pass out really really hungry and if i don't it every 1/2 an hour i feel sick the doctor just did a normal blood test said nothing was wrong and to stop over reacting and that it was just over breathin and if i eat sugar i get really really shaky all up my arm and down my spine please whats wrong if its not diabetes what is it hes cheked my heart and checked diabetes so what is it what test should i ask for now im so worried help please!!! and quick!!!

at fist when i said whats wrong he said nothing your just over breathing and over reacting stop being so stupid and i said well id like a blood test for diabetes any way so he just gave me a routine blood test not a ac1 which made me pretty angry but i thought it should show up any way
if i have hyperglycemia dosent that mean i have diabetes?

Depends on what tests he did . An A1C test is fairly certain if you are not taking any meds. You could be hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) rather than diabetic , but a blood test should have shown that .
I would suggest a different Doctor , or maybe a referral to a specialist. Maybe a glucose tolerance test ?
If you have reported your symtoms honestly to the Doctor its his job to decide what conditions fit those symptoms and do the required tests.

I recommend you and the first answerer both find new doctors. I hate being blown off when something is definitely wrong and he calls me a dizzy redhead and says to grow up!!

A finger prick tells not much, only what your glucose is right that moment.

I have fired several doctors in the past few years for being either stupid or lazy! It is no skin off their backs or money out of their pockets to order blood labs be done. So why not order it.

The question you should ask is where is the real dr hidden. Get a second opinion fast.

Get a new doctor. A good doctor would not tell you to stop overreacting when you have symptoms like that.

Could be you have an eating disorder. It isn't diabetes. Try another doctor and have more testing done.
