If you have or had gestational diabetes..?

I have been diagnosed with this. I see a diabetes educators but I don't find them very helpful in determining my daily portions of food. They just gave me a meal plan with what I can eat, but not how much.

Could you please tell me a typical meal plan you followed with portion size so I can have an idea.

Thanks heaps..

The only thing that you need to make sure that you aren't eating too much of is carbohydrates. Also obviously sugars ( no fruit juices) just natural fruits. Always make sure you are eating wheat breads and such. If you just have a very small portion of carbohydrates at each meal then you should be fine. Keep your protein levels up ( meats, nuts ) fresh fruit and nuts are a good snack idea.
