| Diabetes & foot problems? I am a 31 yr old Diabetic (Type 1-had it since I was 12), & I have had problems recently with my left foot. The toe next to the pinky toe is a bit red, sore & itchy, & it looks little purplish in one spot. Sometimes it goes back to normal, but then it comes back ,I noticed mostly when my blood sugars are high. I also have a sharp pain that happens when I press down on my heel, feels like a vein is about to burst, very painful. Could this be Diabetes related?      |
