I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes is it possible im actually type 2?

Around 3 months ago i was diagnosed with type one diabetes after having a blood test done after 12 hours fasting and having a high result. I am 18 years old (17 when diagnosed) and im quite slim. I used to eat really bad, fast food 3-4 times a week, candy all the time and i hardly ate any vegetables.

Since Ive had diabetes i have eaten the best i have in my life. But i have gained a little weight, and i find i have hypos really easy. I have forgotten insulin needles before and hours later checked my sugars levels and they have been fine. Is it possible i have type 2 diabetes?
