is it safe to take zoloft if you have diabetes ?

im an 18 year female who has a mild case of diabetes. i been on zoloft for a few months and i found out a week ago from my doc i have diabetes. hes knows im on zoloft, but im wondering is it safe to still take my zoloft. i dont have diabetes bad at all where i have to take anything for it. i just have to watch what i eat and test my blood sugar every now and then. im guessing if im doctor didnt say anything about me on zoloft and having diabetes i have nothing to worry about. but im just making sure
