Losing Weight with Type 1 Diabetes?

So I was diagnosed almost 2 months ago with type 1, and I'm gaining weight. Before I was about 117, but now I'm at 124! To some people it may not sound like a lot, but at 5 feet, that puts me at risk of becoming over weight. I am active I dance about 3 times a week (for atleast 2 hours) and becuase of diabetes I mainly only drink water and Crystal light. Is there anything that I can do that can help me lose the weight. (since I'm only 13, I can't really spend like 3 hrs. a day going to a gym, just to let you know

If you take insulin, this will cause weight gain. You just have to follow a good diet and get lots of exercise

u could still get a lot taller, ur very young. dont worry about your weight, but if do anyways, try running

Actually, it sounds like your blood sugar is coming under control and that is causing the gain. If your sugar was crazy high and out of control you would lose weight.
