| How do they know there are 700,000 undiagnosed cases of diabetes in Australia? It was on the news that for every case of diabetes that's been diagnosed, one person remains undiagnosed. How do the experts know that if these people haven't even been checked? |

| It has to do with the math. How many people there are, the amount of people infected (known) out of how many people tested (known) The equation lies somewhere in there. To find this answer you would take the known and use it as an equation against the remaining population to find the probable amount that would be infected. |
