When you have high triglycerides, does that mean you have diabetes ?

Or can you lower your levels and avoid

No, High triglycerides mean you have hi triglycerides.

Diabetes has to do with hi blood sugar levels.

Some people with diabetes may also have hi triglycerides .It is not a diagnostic tool.

Triglycerides are a type of fats in your blood. Diabetes has to do with blood sugar levels. Some people with high triglyceride levels can have them as part of a collection of things that indicate they could develop diabetes. Read this link, below, and see if the information helps.
