aaron M has a spectacular aura about
My doctor didn't call me to inform me of my blood results which indicated I have

PRE-diabetes. Isnt that wrong My doctor claims he doesnt call patients with blood results unless there is something wrong. If there is something wrong I would here from him in 48 hours.

I called anyway to get my results about 8 days later and was told by my doctor that I have Pre-diabetes.

Shouldn't my doctor have called me to inform me about this serious condition?

I read online that pre-diabetes causes a 50% higher risk for heart disease, and that there are steps I can take now to avoid getting diabetes. My doctor didnt tell me any of this stating "you'll live."

Atleast now, knowing my results, I have the chance to improve my diet and excercise to stop a full blown case of diabetes.

Shouldn't my doctor have called me with the results? If I wouldn't have called myself to get the results, would have gone through a whole year without knowing.

Now atleast I can change my eating and excercise habits.

Should I say something to my doctor about this?
