Diabetes blood sugar level over time?

Hi everyone,

I'm very concerned with my blood sugar level. After lunch today (dim sum, 4 plates), I measured my blood sugar level, and I got the following reading (3 measurements):

After 2 hours: 14.4 mmol/l
After 3 hours: 10.2 mmol/l
After 4 hours: 6 mmol/l

What do you think? It seems that my blood sugar level after 2 hours of meal is very high, although I'm quite relieved, at least, the sugar level goes down by around 4 mmol/l every hour.

I suspected that I may have diabetes. I'm interested to know how the blood sugar level for people with diabetes decrease/increase over time. Decrease by 4 mmol/l per hour, is this good or bad? normal or abnormal?

I will ask my GP for a more comprehensive test later this week, but I was just wondering if anyone have the same experience regarding this? I'm very interested to know how fast the blood sugar level for people with diabetes decrease over time (i.e. after 2, 3 and 4 hours)? Thanks in advance.
