How much exercise would it take to get into fitness model shape? Is 1.5 hour a day enough? With a really strict diet? Combination of intense cardio with strength training and yoga?

yes, an hour and a half to 2 hours is good, but make sure you take at least one day off a week after weight training to let your muscles recover.
