| Is my diet balanced enough? This is a typical day for me: Breakfast - 1 slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter a yoplait yogurt snack - about 15 almonds lunch - about two cups of lettuce with a carrot and a little bit of dressing an apple and another fruit snack- a serving of cheese and/or half a fruit dinner- usually a baked potato with cheese, vegetables, rice, beans, etc Oh, and I pretty much only drink water. Sometimes I'll have a low-sodium v8. I've counted how much protein I get. I get enough; the almonds, peanut butter, cheese, yogurt, and bread all have protein. |
