ocean city maryland hotels on the boardwalk with fitness center??

i have been searching on line in attempt to find a hotel located ON THE BOARDWALK in ocean city maryland that has a fitness center in the hotel. i keep finding hotels on the beachfront that offer the amenity, but not on the boardwalk. does anyone know of any hotel that offers this located on the boardwalk?? the safety of my drivers license is reliant on not having to drive from the boardwalk bars to the hotel!! (haha) if i have to, i know that there is the golds gym on coastal highway and i can do a week membership there, but would prefer to not have to make that drive. a friend of mine mentioned a fitness center that you can join for a week that is also located on the boardwalk, but i do not remember seeing anything like that on previous trips, but that would be another option for me if anyone knows where this is, and that it does in fact exist!!?!!
