How long does it take for the 6 meal a day diet to kick in?

I have been on this diet for two weeks with a daily intake of 1500 calories a day. I go to the gym every other day and do cardio for 45min. I weighted myself this morning and rather than losing weight I have gained 4pounds. OMG
