Good fitness plan for crazy schedule?

I currently work 3rd shift in a group home and I work 9+ hours per shift. I commute an hour both ways to get to work so I don't usually have a lot of spare time in a given day. What are some things I can do to keep tabs on my weight? I'm finding myself eating more and more unhealthy and exercising less and less. Any suggestions?

I don't know if this will help much because I am lucky. My sisters boyfriend is training to be a personal trainer, and so that he has more practice, he helps me work out. We both are pretty busy, him with my sister, work and class, myself with a son, work and class. We generally have to work out late at night.
For eating I would say, when you go to the store to weigh your options. look at the back of the box/bag and try and shop at places that will offer better foods like fresh market, or something like that.
