harsh cardio?fitness experts only pls!?

If i burn 900 calories 6 times a week will that be enough to shed a pound of excess body fat every 2 days or am i being too harsh with my body?How many calories should i burn at the gym daily if lets say i want to lose a pound of excess body fat every 2 days?

eassssyyy. you are going to burn yourself up real fast doing that! Unless you want to injure yourself and be out of commission from the gym for a while then just shoot for 500....that's sufficient and you won't risk getting too overworked or dehydrated....make sure when you are burning this many calories during a cardio workout that you are not only drinking plenty of water but replenishing your electrolytes with gatorade and some protein. If you don't you could end up dehydrated real easily. Go at your own pace....listen to your body and you will lose weight at a healthy rate! Besides I guarantee you will only last one day trying to burn 900 calories... oh yea and if you are looking at the calorie burn on a treadmill its made for a 150 lb person so if you weigh more or less than that its not going to be as accurate
