| Large dark brown spots appearing on skin?
I'm age 40, hispanic female. About a year ago I noticed dark color spots appearing around me neck and uper chest area. I would best describe them as a bruise like color. They are not raised, or a rash, just darkening of the skin. They are large, about the size of a silver dollar and seem to be growing. Then, about three months ago, a dark bruise like spot appeared down by my ankle. This area is the same color theme only it is tender to the touch and causes some minor pain. Any ideas what this might be from? I am healthy, in shape, eat healthy, have no known diseases or illnesses. Diabetes does run in my family, but I have no known symptoms of that. Any references would be appreciated. |
