Girls at my job were talking about "yeast infections"?

These 2 new girls we hired from a temp agency were in their cubicle talking about how one had a yeast infection. Me & the girl w/yeast are getting pretty cozy. What is yeast. And should i run for the hills. She is hella fine for a white girl. I never been w/ a white girl, is this a dirty VD disease?lina - no i'm serious. This WG Sheri and me were going to hook up tonite but she called it off because she had that issue. She is down to phuck but she wants to wait until it "clears up". They did not know i was in the office, it was after hours and i came back to get my laptop and crept in because i heard them talking about how cute they think i am.But i dont think i'm going to hit that, all my homies think she is skankish. We got this code in our crew about WG's.Oh yeah, i think u and BUBU need to get a room. LOL, y'all know i dig each otherlina - no i'm serious. theyre talking about thrush. really, they shouldnt talk about such things at work. thrush is a fungal infection, it appears in different parts of the body. when in the mouth anus and vagina it is called thrush. when on the feet it is called athletes foot or tinea and when on the body it is called ringworm but its all basically the same thing.thrush can easily be treated by using a special cream and for women, pessaries put in the vagina. hope this helps.

The yeast infections these girls were probably talking about is just an imbalance of normal bacteria in the vaginal area. It is quite common for women to have yeast infections and they can be cured with medication.

Disgusting!! Why would they talk about yeast infections out loud so that peeps can hear them. Run for the heels. FYI go to this website: www.4woman.gov/FAQ/yeastinfect.htm. That was so inappropriate for them to talk about it so loud

It's not an STD. It doesn't kill people, it's just really annoying and every woman has had or will have at least one in her lifetime. Also, what they were doing was unprofessional. Why are the talking about yeast infections at work? If you do plan on sleeping with her, I'd suggest using a condom or waiting until she has it cleared up.

No, a yeast infection is not an STD.Vaginal yeast infections occur when new yeast is introduced into the vaginal area, or when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the quantity of normal bacteria. For example, when the normal, protective bacteria are eradicated by antibiotics (taken to treat a urinary tract, respiratory, or other types of infection) or by immunosuppressive drugs, the yeast can multiply, invade tissues, and cause irritation of the lining of the vagina (vaginitis).

Don't worry NOT VD!But if you have relations there is a slight chance of getting it.Some women naturally produce more yeast(everyone produces yeast) than others. But most of time an outside source causes it-antibiotics is one of the leading causes in women. Treatment can be in pill form, creams or suppositories and can take 1 -3 days. No biggie bet even your mom has had it at some time in her life.
