Artist...job...help!?

I'm 19 and have never had a job before so this summer I want to change that and find my first Job. I will be living in Manhattan, NY most of the summer. One thing about me is that i'm an artist who loves to draw, I'm trying to find a job along that field but I don't seem to find the right jobs that grant this.What job is right for me? what job could i find that requires drawing/illustration without having any work experience??Please helpThank You!

With artists, often we are required to get "regular" jobs that provide an income so we can support our hobbies. You may want to consider a job with an art supply store for example, so you can meet other people in the industry and have the opportunity to pick their brains and get their feedback. Good luck!
