Dream Interpretation?

I had a series of dreams last night I would like to understand. I can't remember it all but I remember an earthquake where I ran to stand in the doorway of a building to be safe. I don't remember much other than I was okay but scared. The other piece that was pretty vivid was running with 2 friends to try and catch a train and not being able to run fast enough or know how to get to the train. We had to run up this ladder and they did it fine but I struggled with every step...my legs were too weak. Then it was a maze through this restaurant / house with all these people and I could hear my friends yelling at me where to go but I was lost. I was asking the waitress where to go and she was trying to describe it but basically said I missed the train anyway so I should give up. What do you think all of this means?

I had a dreams like that about a year ago, very much the same.

For me it was that I needed to have an interest outside what my main friends had. After that I got a call from a friend of a friend who gave me oils, brushes, canvas and books. Just like that. Something I wanted to try, but got lost in the day to day stuff, and I did not know anyone who painted at all.

For me it was scary to try new things, I did not want to look stupid.
