dream interpretation?

Ok so I had a dream about myself and a guy in a jacuzzi/bathtub filled with water and us making out. the guy pulls away and tells me he loves me and i cant respond in the dream. the guy then says forget it and steps out and goes away. the water starts to drain, i feel hurt then i woke up

when i woke up i was pretty sure it was my ex boyfriend. we went out 5 diff times but never longer then a month and a half. we've known eachother for 4 years and he's one of my good friends, we dont see eachother often but we still talk when we can. he did tell me last year he loved me and i just said thank you.

now im with a guy for 6 months and im happy but im wondering why this dream would show up????
