Dream interpretation?

I'm in a restaurant with my mom. We get into an argument and she says that we shouldn't argue in public. She takes me to a corner, and holds my hands with her nails to my palms. She squeezes and digs her nails into my skin, and I bleed. I backed away and couldn't believe that she'd hurt me, and I was afraid to go back to her. She looked sorry that she'd hurt me, and appologized. She opened her arms to hug me, and I refused to let he hug me. The thought I had at that times was that the apology didn't sound sincere.

What could this mean?

It means anything you want it to mean. And NO one else can tell you the "meaning" of your dream. Dreams are the same as your thoughts, except while you're asleep. They are your mind, solving your problems.

They are NOT codes or symbols, foretelling of the future, messages from your unconscious, etc. No book or web site can "interpret" your dreams. You do this by discovering the problem the dream is trying to solve.

(I get a kick out of some of the would-be Freudians thinking they can interpret other peoples' dreams for them! So many wonderful meanings...for THEM if THEY had the dreams...but they didn't, and so their interpretations mean nothing.)

too tell you the truth i think most dreams dont mean anything they are random thoughts that go off in your head when u are sleeping. just like when ur awake and u mind goes off on a tangent and makes up a dream. some dreams mean something though.

It probably means that someone close to you is hurting you, and you know and your getting away from the situation and your not going back.

That's scary. It's detailed and if your mom was posessed it would make sense and maybe make a good book...

Some dreams are just shows in your sleep and nothing more. Your mom does love you, and I doubt that your dream is showing that she doesn't. It's just a dream.

This COULD mean (dreams are a mish-mash) that you fear someone you trust is not what they appear to be. It could be a teacher, a supervisor, a boss, or anyone male or female. It's not your Mom if she represents love to you. It's some situation where you smell a rat. Figure out who it is. Now if you dream it again in another scenario, it Does Have Merit!! Reoccurring dreams mean something is wrong.
