Odd astronomy dream?

I have a reoccurring dream that I look at the sky and I am able to see all sorts of amazing deep space objects with the naked eye. They always look like you'd see them in Hubble photos, rather than how they'd look if you actually saw them. (With the colors and all.)In the dream, I am always trying to find my telescope, or I have my telescope but I'm looking for a place to use it.I never actually get a chance to because things keep happening. Sometimes I'll get chased, sometimes the world is attacked by giant robots, sometimes I end up in a parallel universe.. All sorts of things. But in the dream, I'm really annoyed that I'm missing out on the chance to see this stuff with my telescope. Heh. (Can you say GEEK?)In some variations, I look at the sky and the stars are also connected with lines and labeled with the constellations.Any interpretations?

Maybe you should grow up to be an astronomer. I don't know, at least you remember your dreams, I can never remember mine, even when i wake up!

Dream interpretation is about the stupidest "field" there is. The most qualified person to interpret your dreams is you. It seems you really like astronomy, and maybe you're hurting for a fancy telescope so you can see more stuff.Dreams are a mix of stuff you already know, stuff that's on your mind, your personal quirks, and a whole bunch of other garbage that doesn't mean anything at all.So my guess is that you should save up for that telescope. In the meantime, go lay out under the stars and gaze.

When it comes to interpreting dreams, it's a very personal thing and there is so little fleeting science to it.I experience the same sort of thing from time to time; that is, something very pleasant yet unreal combined with something rather annoying. The pleasant part is that you can see the sights already but there is this strange thought that you want your telescope... I'll bet that it makes perfect sense in your dreams, huh?The human mind is so very fascinating because we know so little about its operation... there is no owner's manual! Now if you are bound and determined to get an interpretation of your dream, you are the one most qualified to do it. Dreams are generated entirely by one's subconscious mind and the majority of people (myself included) have only the slightest inkling as to what goes on in one's subconscious.Scientists also admit that they have yet to determine WHY we dream at all.I guess that it all boils down to, "Know Thyself."I wish that I could dream of astronomical and quantum cosmological things; but I have to satisfy myself with doing it while I'm awake.

You can see the answers that you seek in the universe, but you have been told you need a tool, and you believe it. You know this on a sub-conscience level, but there are great obstacles and barriers in society which can confuse you, compute you, and get you lost; thus keeping you from your own understandings, and tools. It bothers you that you know how to see, but it is different from the way you believe that you are supposed to see. Meaning that the dream is not scientific, or a part of any cultivated religion; so it is not reliable evidence here. You wish you could bring it all together, but you can not end up in the right place with the right supplies at the right time to make it happen. It's like we are following the lines of someone else's dream.variation=earth: the roads, and the paths, and the careers are all paved, stomped, and studied so that they can be connected with; and labeled in the class system. Sometimes this is the only way you see things. Probably at the times when giant robots are around. Belive me, they already attacked the world a long time ago. Yeah, but this scientific and robotic way is very convincing at the times when we need it; but we can still observe the spiritual world at unexpected times. You are interested in astronomy. That's my interpretation.
