What is the Spanish Interpretation of these verses?

My son is preparing for his final exam in Spanish. He has to write an original song in English and perform it in Spanish. His concern is that, as he tries to translate to Spanish, something in the meaning will be lost. I know this is a lot to ask, but 10 points to the best interpretation. Here are the verses:If life is like a movieDoes it end like a fable? If so I would pay to see itTo relive all the memoriesIt would start with my theme musicAnd show the house where I used to liveHighlight the things that I used to doAnd the people I used to loveI could laugh at my joysCry for all my sorrowsI would realize the mistakes I madeAnd remember when I used to dreamIn the past when I was not scaredTo face the worldI would die heroicI would have memorable last words

I love the poem, how old is your son?! x

In music, as well as in poetry, the number of syllables is the most important feature. If you, as a native speaker (I'm a native speaker of Spanish) could tell me how many syllables there are in each line, I could do a better job. Of course, I'd do my very best to keep the original meaning but I'd try to adapt this translation.By the way, I can tell you how many syllables there are in normal spoken English there are, but as your son knows, when singing this changes. Some are lengthened, some are elided, and so on.I love challenges (I'm a Scorpio) and this is fascinating.
