This dream seems to be a metaphor for the possible great effects of seemingly weak efforts. This theme occurs in Christianity which opposes the many evil desires and wills in the world by producing good fruit or good deeds among a small minority of God followers - the effect of which is like the small amount of yeast needed to make the whole loaf of bread to rise - the effect of the few who become good is to greatly limit the extent to which evil progresses among the majority who do not follow God... Jesus said that were it not for God's chosen the whole of humanity would be destroyed in God's end time judgements - but because of them humanity will survive on earth...
